Merseyside Maritime Museum
Cotton made Liverpool into an internationally important trading port and you can discover the whole story at the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Set in an architecturally impressive building on the waterfront, the museum also houses an exhibition about the ill-fated Titanic.
The Cotton Museum
Cotton was important to both cities during the industrial revolution. The Cotton Museum at the Memphis Cotton Exchange tells the story of how Cotton Row became the centre of the worldwide cotton trade.
