The Walker Art Gallery is the national gallery of the North of England. For 130 years it has housed Liverpool’s most outstanding art collection with an impressive collection of painting and sculpture dating back as far as the 13th Century. It’s a gallery with a real legacy – many of its most important works have been on display in the city for nearly 200 years.
